Equine influenza

Post by ri »

Hi all,
replying to Rhonda and all horse owners and lovers.
I am so sorry regarding the dilemma you must be all going through regarding the quarantine effects of the equine flu epidemic. I was reading a newsletter from the Equestrian Federation of Australia this morning and fully realised the restrictions you have to comply with and the uncertainty for the next months.
The inconvenience of the compulsory isolation must be very trying to you all.
I was a horse owner for many years and had a wonderful time with my grey stockhorse until he was euthanased a couple of weeks ago with terminal cancer.
I miss him dreadfully but have magnificent memories which will be with me forever.
Hang in there guys and I am thinking of you.
Best wishes,
~Robyn

Hi Robyn
Sorry to hear about your prescious horse.
Horses are lovely creatures.
This is a true story. The lady in the office is away with rabbit influensa.apparently she had a rabbit that had a lump in its throat and she got it.She is quiet sick.
I've never heard of it and when the girl's where telling me about it ,I thought that they were trying to outdo me with the horse flu but it was true.
Regards Rhonda
