kitty litter

Post by Rita »

Hi All
Phillip Crisp mentioned at a training day, a "P2" kitty litter should be used instead of just any old kitty litter. Can anyone tell me the name of a brand and/or which shops stock it please?
Thanks in advance

What he meant was the old style kitty litter that was clay based. NOT the newer organic ones available now made from reccycled paper and such and not the type made from polymer crystal, often sold as "clumping". If you ask in the pet shop for the old fashioned stuff and tell them what you need it for they should be able to help. If your buying it from the supermarket, usually the cheaper generic branded ones are what you need. Oh and the P2 was a reference to the type of dust mask you should use.
