Yes folks it is 90 years, we must keep all prac that are done, so perhaps its time to change the way the teachers order things. That's all DoE schools. As I said before we put ours in a large book, its copied out by my self, onto a smaller bit of paper that stay's with the prac. That way it is in the teachers hand writing want they require. They put the class name, say 8H teachers name and room number plus period.

I think it is the teachers problem about keeping records - not ours.. we do NOT get paid enough for this extra responsibility..

I agree but our Principal said it was ours, to make sure they are kept for 10 years then sent on to DoE. Perhaps he meant just look after the book once that year has passed, and keep them all together.? Good question

I agree. Especially when they don't use the system available to them.

Hi Labbie,
Can you please tell me where to find documentation that tells us this?
I looked on DEC intranet and can't find anything that says we are to keep for 70-90 years.
Only office for 7 years.
Any direction would be greatful so I can take to HOD.
Cheers Trish

Hi Trish, It is in the NEW code of conduct, the Principal has the new copy, do not think it is on line as yet.
