Does anyone know where I can get my CRO serviced ASAP, or am I better buying a new one.
This one came off the Ark I think !

Re: CRO service
Hi Marg,
We use an app on our iPads and it works well (no lugging the CRO around either!).
Here is the link. There is another add on Signal generator app that needs to be purchased to allow it to produce sounds of a certain frequency.
https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/signals ... 81777?mt=8
Cheers

Re: CRO service
I do such repairs in Melbourne so appreciate your needs.
Any decent TV repair service company in your area should be able to handle it.
A quick google showed me the following (I don't know anything about them at all)
http://betterview.com.au/television-repairs/
http://spencer-electronics.com.au/
http://www.pacifichifi.com.au/
the next option is to ring Wagners on (02) 9798 9233 and see if they can recommend someone to you - they supply the parts to the repair industry.
Out of interest can you tell me the brand and model - I have a large collection of service handbooks which may help whoever you get to work on it.
My last comment is about 75% of the 'faulty' CROs I see are OK, just not being driven correctly. A service centre should be able to determine that within 5 mins.
Best of luck
Harvey
