Chemwatch GoldFFX training

Post by smeee »

ASET will be presenting an all day training session on Chemwatch GoldFFX in the last week of the school holidays.
We are asking for expressions of interest if you would like to attend.
You will need to bring a laptop with your Chemwatch uploaded and/or at least a database of your chemicals.
The date is yet to be confirmed but will know for sure by mid next week.
It will be the 19th/20th or 21st January.
I'm sure your school will give you time off in lieu of attending as it will be to their advantage.
Cost will be minimal.
Open to everyone not just ASET members.
For those of you who attended ASET conference at Sydney Grammar School recently, Chris Kelly will be the presenter.
Final details will be available by end of next week.

I would have loved to have come, but will still be soaking up the sun on the north coast that week. Any chance of it being run later in January, or some notes be distributed to members after the training?

Thanks for organising this, sorry I wouldn't be able to attend that week.

Just a quick question. Where is it going to be held and what is the approximate cost going to be? Sorry for the questions but we finish at the end of this week and I just need some approx. costs to put in to the money man.

Thanks

Already spoken to IT about borrowing a laptop and Admin Leader if I can have a day off later as it is on in my holidays.
So, yes, I am interested.

Wednesday 21 January 2015 -yes it's in the holidays !
Where : Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club
Cost : $25 for members. $50 for non members
Email : secretaryasetnsw@gmail.com for flyer and registration form

Because we are at end of term we can invoice you or your school when school returns next year but we need to know numbers so catering and dietary requirements can be made accordingly

Lidcombe is on the main train line. The club is a short 100 m walk from station along John St. If driving entry to club is via Church st carpark.

You will need to bring laptop with Chemwatch access and a hard copy of your chemical register.

Full details on flyer from secretary
