To those NT Chemtalkers that might have been missed, there is a meeting on Friday 6 May at Marrara Christian College from 1.30 - 3.00pm, for NT Lab Techs to set up a support network. Also being looked at is creating a Manual for NT Lab Techs of local knowledge and practice and sharing information on safety issues, resources etc. Neil Rankin will also bring us up to date with progress at the National Level on the report "The Status of School Science Laboratory Technicians in Australian Secondary Schools", by Mark Hackling. STANT will provide afternoon tea in appreciation of the work that we do in our schools. RSVP's to Neil Rankin. Have attached letter that was sent. See you there.
