Organic chem prac....HELP

Post by rodannt »

Hi all out in lab world, hope you all had a good break.
I am trying to get a prac together that requires a "chloroalkane", the prac has tert-butyl chloride listed (2-chloro-2-methylpropane), does anyone know an alternative????
Any help would be great
thanks

Hi All,

Just to reiterate,

Dichloromethane is the best option here,
