Post by Mother »

Hello all.
Does anyone have a foolproof way of separating small round rare - earth magnets?
Cheers

You need a pair of tongs (the especially made ones) for each magnet, grab each one and twist. Wouldn't like to do it without, as you would likely crush your fingers.

I bought them at the same time as the magnets from Scientrific I think. Get one tong for each super magnet.

Didn't we do this somewhere else?

I place the two magnets against the edge of a bench (one with squared edges), so that one magnets is resting on the bench and the other over the edge (on thin air). Then I push down on the one in the air and they separate
