determining nitrogen cont of fetilizer

Hi, has anyone got an reccommendations for this senior chem prac. Any brand of fertilizer/product that gives any kind of result? In the past we have not had much luck with this. Some mention was made regarding a particular brand at the Science Conference last year, but we can't remember.

Our kids have done this with ammonium sulfate. They will need to weigh about 1.5g. The nitrogen should be in form of ammonium ion. Other fertiliser could have nitrogen in nitrate form or urea and it is harder to analyse.
