Hi,
I've been trying to find the correct name for this clip, but I'm unsuccessful. It holds the objective lens in place.
Does anyone know what this is called and where I can find a replacement for it?

Thank you!

It has a few names, depending on which brand service handbook you look at....
index spring, stop spring, detent stop, and simply spring

I prefer to call it the Detent stop spring, it seems to cover most bases!

It would be improper to tout my own business on this forum so I humbly suggest you try a few of the usual repairers in your state first.

Hi labbassistant, if you have several items needing repairs and parts you might want to give Bob Death a call - he does a great job and doesn't charge the earth for it.

There is tricky adjusting bit that refocuses your microscopes. It is just on the turret below the stage I think. I will check and get back to you.
