I have 3 burettes which were broken in transit. They all snapped above the tap, so as burettes go they are useless.
Does anyone have any ideas about what else I can use them for? I hate to throw away anything potentially useful...(which is why my house is full of stuff!!)
Thanks,
Mel

Re: what to do with broken burettes???
We use some broken burettes when we look at viscosity.
Stopper one end, add your liquid, put a small ball baring in, stopper the other end and tip upside down. (tape the stoppers if necessary and leave a small air gap otherwise one stopper gets pushed out when you push the second one in).
Could you use them for the universal indicator rainbow?

Thanks Matt, great ideas. I'll give them a go, better than adding to the broken glass bin.
