Re: Wollongong Labbies, Microscope repairs

Post by Rita »

Hi
I am in Nowra and received quotes toward the end of last year for servicing of all our microscopes.
Issco had a minimum of 15 microscopes and were substantially dearer than EduSupplies Pty Ltd.
We used EduSupplies Pty Ltd @ $35 per microscope. They also called in at another local school after us.
Tel 1300 661 607 (PO Box 103 Menai Central 2234).

Equipment service and repairs

Post by ana.santos »

Our microscopes are due for servicing and we have some equipments for repairs. can anyone please suggest which person/company to contact within NSW with the best price? I had a quote from Priv-ed, it's a bit expensive for our budget. :-(
Thanks.

Has anyone had experience with Wiltronics Scientific Digital LCD Microscopes. They come with a 3.5" LCD screen. I thought these might be great for students working in groups, much easier for them to discuss and identify whats on the screen.
any input appreciated

Hi All,

Does anyone in the Wollongong area know if Eddie Bishop is still the repairer of choice?

There is another option. I used Redbank instruments and I am in Bowral. I think they are at Picton or Camden. They have a website.

Oh I just realized I actually already posted this higher up the page and since that post I have used him and he was very good and reasonably priced.
