LabDisc Data Logger Gensci 13 Wireless Sensor

Post by ritacrem »

Hi
Very new to being a lab assistant and have been asked to source a new Data Logger. Has anyone used/heard of LabDisc Logger Gensci 13? Interested in any feedback. :D This would be a huge investment for our school and would eventually replace the other data logger equipment.
Thanks heaps
Rita

Hi Rita,
Welcome to the mad mad world of School lab assistant. I have never heard of this data logger. We use LabQuest. Very easy to use very user friendly. Expensive though at around $560 a pop plus probes! So yes a huge investment for any school and well worth the research in getting the one that will work best for your school!

Rita

We also use the LabQuest, we have recently had the NSW representative from Scientrific come and give us some training. I found him very good.

major thing to think about is service and parts - how easy to get..
Westlab have one may be good to look at. We use Data harvest here, even though I wanted to go to another type...
Take your time, get reps to come and show you..

Thanks heaps everyone - really appreciate the help. Data Loggers are a bit of a foreign world to me. Still finding my feet in the lab itself!
