Risk assessments - who does them?

MSDSs, Storage, Handling, Transport, Labeling, computer management systems, and anything else to do with safety.

My thought on this is that the teacher should do them
The lab assistant does not know the intricacies of that particular class which needs to be taken into consideration with regards to the risk assessment.
Besides that, they are being paid for that, we aren't.

It talks about collaborating - that doesn't mean doing it for someone else - it means talking together to get a few different view points. Having said that, though, I would NEVER write a RA for a teacher. It is their responsibility.
