Robb has returned

Post by Robb »

Hi All,

I have been absent from the Chemtalk forum as I have been to NASA in the US. I have worked on a few things over there hence my absence. I forgot to send a message out before I left but when you are preparing to leave other stresses take over. I could'nt remember my password over there as I have it scribed in my pocket book I keep here at school.

It's great to be back again.

Cheers,

Robb.....

Hi All,

I have been working on the new Space transportation system called ARES, There have been several launches over the last few months that we have not shared with the public. These are just simple launches to test the rocket itself, no sinister background just plane old launches.

THe ARES will replace the space shuttle and will put man back on the moon in 2021.. Yes..... 2021, we are going back to the moon.

I have been busy working on the New insulation material that protect the reentry module from burning up on earth insertion (reentry)... The capsule will splash down in the ocean as before during the manned moon missions in 1969 - 1972.

The material used to be made of cork and was 3 feet thick 90cm thick in our scale and used to ablate (burn) away as reentry was done. This protected the astronauts on reentry.

Now we have a kevlar/ceramic composite that is only 15cm thick and even lighter!

SO with this information there are a lot of subtle hints in it that explains things without me saying as the rest at the moment is classified.

I also used the Hubble Space Telescope to find planet like bodies that have the same distance to a star as we do with our own earth to our Sun to see if the possibility of finding a planet that could harbour life.... Its funny because I've dubbed the program, Planet Spotting, (after train spotting), which the name is now being used to identify the program.

In the process I found 2 stars, one I named after my wife and the other after my good friend, both of which I brought to tears but I appreciate what they do for me and it is nothing compared to what they have done for me by just being there when things get challenging.

They both are beautiful women and I know they deserve a thing like this.

Awwwwe...

Talk again soon....

If there are any questions feel free to ask at any time....

My wife often says Tisk...Tisk....It's just boys and thier toys...Funny that...

Cheers,

Robb.....
