The ASET PD day in Dubbo last Monday was a great success.
Thank you to everyone who attended. Feedback was most positive and shows that PD for the topics covered is much needed in the regional areas.
Although numbers may look small we had over 60 attendees from as far away as Bourke, Broken Hill, Lightning Ridge, Bathurst, Orange, Newcastle, Coolum, Mudgee, Trangie, Nyngan and Narromine. Mostly all DET schools but 3 from Catholic schools and 2 from Independent schools. The support and positive feedback shows that professional development is much needed in the regional areas.
4 displayers travelled from Melbourne, Sydney and Yamba to take part as well as the support of suppliers that sent bits and pieces for our "showbag" of goodies.
Details of Sydney based PD day will be available shortly

What a GREAT day it was

It was also a wonderful opportunity to be able to put faces to names of you girls who organised the day.
All those people who travelled very long distances I take my hat off to you for being so keen.Like I said before, if these courses are not supported they will not be offered.
Can only improve from here on.
