Senior Laboratory Technician
To commence on 18th July 2011
Trinity Grammar School, Summer Hill, requires a Senior Laboratory Assistant to join the staff team in the Science Department. The position will be a permanent position, with working hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday during school terms. The Science Department has 11 teaching laboratories, three non-teaching laboratories, four stores, 16 teaching staff and three laboratory assistants. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Head of Science primarily for the management of the other laboratory assistants, materials and equipment in the Science Department and in collaboration with the Science teaching staff, the general facilitation of practical work within the Science Department. A good knowledge and experience in the use and safe handling of chemicals and chemistry equipment is essential as this will be a key area of responsibility.
