I'm staying home, resting.
might do some day trips here and there, but essentially time with my girls and husband.
The inlaws were supposed to be coming to visit 'in the first ha;f of the year' so i was hoping they would spend their first ever easter with my family, but no, they will be here in June sometime..(no holidays then for me).

I'm going to exercise too!!! :)

But i have too much on here at the moment to think about Hols just yet, its prac exam season....

For the Easter weekend i am heading to Melbourne with my mother. Nothing planned other than I will be heading off to the comedy festival each evening, leaving Mum to do whatever she wants (she doesn't get comedy! :w00t: ).

In the term break I will be haeding back to Melbourne with my brother for a footy week, this is something we have done together for many years (since our teens).

Lada
Come
I am going to the big Island to see the Volcano (awesome) it has been erupting and is very active
Everyone keeps telling me to shopping is great but I hate shopping of any kind.
So the beach or the pool or the zoo (we can walk to it) lots of sight seeing for me.

Wow! Hawaii sounds much more exciting than the Central Coast. I am going to visit my mum and brother and my girlfriend whom I have known since I was 5 (that was just after the dinosaurs died out!). Enjoy Hawaii and don't forget to share lots of photos! - check out the show HOW THE EARTH WAS MADE on ABC iview, this week is about Hawaii. The greener the island the older it is!

Hi one and all,

Hawaii would be great, enjoy, we are off to Coolah tops to bush camp for three days. Our youngest daughter 22, is a rouse-about and is currently at Coolah. So dad, myself and her sister are meeting up there. Can't wait to get out there, camp fire (camp oven stew, roast). Sit back in the evening with a glowing moderate fire with a port in hand (find myself drifting off there as I type).
What ever you find yourself doing over the long weekend enjoy and relax.

Noona,
It's already been shown but if you go to the ABC iview internet site you can watch it! The program will be available to watch for another 12 days. Interesting stuff about the formation of Hawaii and the volcanoes!

i did my last day today and now am off on long service until the holidays. :D

Tomorrow at about 8.30 am my husband and I head off towards Narrandera and Lake Mungo on the first leg of our road trip to Kalgoorlie to visit our eldest son and then on to Perth and around the southern coast of WA.
We then return to kalgoorlie for another couple of days and return home via Broken Hill and the Menindee lakes.

A practice for later life as a grey nomad :cheesy:

We will be home for Anzac Day to watch our youngest son march for the 14th time, This time at the head of the school as Vice Captain.
He marched as a pre-schooler because his big brother and sister were marching so why couldn't he!

I am so excited. It is the first time Ian and I have spent more then 2 nights alone for over 25 years. let alone actually having 4 weeks off! :clap3:

The damper to the whole thing is that today we had to say goodbye to our faithful kelpie. She has been part of the family for 15 and a half years. The youngest can't remember a time when she wasn't here. :cry2:

Japan for me!! Very excited; I went 12 years back on a sister city exchange program and loved it. My husband has been wanting to go ever since, so off we go. Will travel about plus visit one of the students we had stay with us many years ago. Then daughter number 2 will visit us in her break (Canberra teacher), so, no rest but looking forward to it. Happy holidays everyone.
