NO2 tubes

Hi everyone,

We've been trying to source a pair of NO2 tubes for the NO2/N2O4 equilibrium for some time with no success. I know other schools in WA are also wanting to buy these tubes and figured that maybe East coasters might be interested too. This morning the following was in my inbox:

Our lab tech was able to get the NO2/N2O4 tubes - she got them from Allirra Glassblowing (phone (08)94371909 fax (08)94371910). They were not cheap but should last a long time.



I rang the supplier and spoke to Dennis, who said the tubes are $67 each + gst. Freight in WA metro is $15 + gst, so probably more for country and interstate because of the special transport requirements due to the toxicity of the gas.
