I have not heard of it being Banned Ian . Although CCIS has 0.1M Lead Nitrate as 11-12 7-12 is 0.05M .Our Chem teacher always complains about it being too weak and not working as he thinks it should . From Science Assist Lead nitrate in solution is included on the List of Recommended Chemicals in or...

Re: amylase colour code

I thought the colour system was called DETRA Dept Education Training Risk assessed .

Is "Risk Assess" part of the DET or an independent ? If they are an Independent then who in the DET has advised them that these are the new colour codes ?

Re: Moving on

You will be very sadly missed Julie . Having filled in for you , I can honestly say that the staff at Dorrigo speak so highly of you, there seemed nothing you couldn't do or would take on . Whoever fills your position will need big shoes to for fill all you did .

Good luck up north .

Re: Do we have to keep exhaust fan on 24/7

Ours is setup like linotas , fan comes on when light operates followed by a purge time when the lights off . I do same as linotas and turn the light on for a while before entering .But strangely you have to open the door as the switch is inside the door  Our labs are circa 2000 .I would have ...
