I've been asked for Potassium Dichromate Indicator for a salinity prac for Marine Studies.
It looks like nasty stuff..............should I make up a 0.1M solution for it?

hi all, Has anyone ordered bovine eyes from Dissection Connection? they come frozen so the lenses will , no doubt, be cloudy? the abattoir, apparently, won't crack the skulls anymore and the butcher I spoke to said he's happy to buy the heads and get the eyes out, but at $25.00 a head..................

hi all, I have a jar of Barium Sulphate, labelled before my time, is there a simple way of checking if it is what the label says it is????? A teacher used some in a flame test but she said it didn't turn the colour it should have................from memory I think she said it should have had a yello...

Casual in Lake Macquarie/Newcastle area

we did periodic table cupcakes one year......pretty tedious
eyeball punch..... I can't remember what I used for the eyeballs now
made a human body out of different foods.....

It is for year 12 Chem "investigating an equilibrium system" to be used with iron III thiocyanate, 0.0005M and silver nitrate, 0.1M.
I'll let her know..........
