Re: Funnels

We've been using sintered glass funnels for the last few years, but have had problems with liquid leaking around the edges of the disc inside. Any advice on how to resolve this please?

My thinking was that even if it had re-frozen before you got back, you'd still have known by the smell if it had been off long enough to completely thaw - I doubt re-freezing would ha...

Re: GHS labels

Many thanks Sue & Merilyn,

I think I've seen this one, but will have another read of it to refresh my memory.

Was really wondering if any DET schools have seen a directive from the Dept regarding this yet?

Cheers

Re: Not Happy with Chemwatch

The PSA has been surveying schools about LMBR (Learning Management and Business Reform). Here's the latest up date they sent last week, 11.3.15 LMBR Update After extensive communication with members in the 229 LMBR focus schools, it became apparent that the LMBR systems were not working effectively ...

Thanks Deb,

Great advice - I'll let the teacher know so he can think about those.

I'll check back to see if there's any more advice when I come back here on Wednesday.

Much appreciated

Haines Light boxes

We are getting another class set of lightboxes. Has anyone got some from Haines recently? As well as the Hodson type that we already have, they offer a set packed in one level in a red tote. I'd like to know if: - they stack (they appear to...) - they use the newer globes - their parts are interchan...
