Re: Voltameter & Sulfuric Acid

The teachers here like to use Sulfuric Acid of course with distilled water. Perhaps their judgement of how much Conc sulfuric acid they put in is the problem??

Voltameter & Sulfuric Acid

We have used a Voltameter with of course Sulfuric Acid Conc, we have new plugs at the bottom. It took a long time for it to bubble this time around, although the plugs do not fit too well, just a little lose, (Sulfuric acid drips out). Could our Sulfuric acid be too old, it was purchased in 1997, ha...

Can this zinc oxide be used again, for the same test. As I am sure their is no change with heating zinc oxide, the B test tube has copper carbonate,...

Re: Microscope purchasing

It is not very strong, and cracks, over time we have replaced these case's. You can only turn the objectives via the case. That is th...

Re: Methylated Spirits

Every thing that goes into a class room must be labeled. Even if it is unknown, must have a coloured dot. In some out come tests, we have little dropper bottles marked with a green dot, and unknown. I can not find it at the moment, but I do believe you can only have 250ml of unknown in the class at ...

Re: A&D (AND) Electronic Balance

He really is very good, he did two very old Electronic balances for us. It was given to the school in 1961 when it first opened. We did not think it was worth fixing. So Eddie took it away, and came back with a quote, Via the phone, and we went ahead. Its a big old thing, but being big and old it is...

No I do not mark exams. I would help out, but if I ever need help with something, only the head teacher, seems to be the only one to help.

So I keep to my part.
