Interactive whiteboards - do you use them?

We are looking at purchasing interactive whiteboards and I would like to know who has them and more importantly do they get used? Please select the answer that best fits your situation.
Thanks very much

Re: Copper sulfate soultion

you could try filtering it to get rid of the gunge, and then using it for experiments where the exact concentration is not needed (eg reaction of aluminium foil in Copper sulphate)

model of the eye

Does anyone have a 3D model of the eye that they can recommend? I'm looking for one that comes apart rather than just a cross section.
Any help appreciated

Re: Batteries

I'm with Rosalie,
I only buy top of the range batteries after buying some cheapos from the $2 shop that werent even strong enough to turn a camera on, never mind be able to use it.
You really do get what you pay for when it comes to batteries.

Re: cleaning disection equipment

Make sure you remove the scalpel blades from their handles as soon as possible other wise they will rust very quickly. Not that you would reuse the blades but the rust gets into the handles too

Re: PLEASE BE CAREFUL

yes, so glad you are not doing this, far too dangerous and way beyond your job description. I was told by the registrar that I am not allowed to transport any hazardous chemicals in my car. And I'm quite happy with that, i would hate somthing yucky to be spilt all over the back seat! :yuck:

Re: Asset Registers

I keep an excel file of all equipment that has quantity and price recorded and use this when doing my stocktake. Usually the registrar only wants items that are over $500 classified as an asset and I sort the excel file by price and print off what she wants. Perhaps you could go back to whoever aske...
