Thanks everyone . The head science told me I can go to only one these conferences this year ASET or SLAMN :-( . As you explained both of them are really helpful .Maybe I could go next year.

Thanks for your help. I found silicon rubber cable which is better than PVC cable and it doesn't melt up to 300 C.

Hi everyone, I really need your advice about hotplate #-o Although before each prac I told teachers to remind students make sure hot plate cable isn't in contact with hot plate surface but IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL :oops: I asked electrician to make cable shorter but it didn't work again .I searched for...

We use wire coathanger as well and hang it at the back of emergency shower in each lab.

New gauze and tripod

Hi all, As I was in the safety course someone talked about new design of gauze & tripod which are attached together ( not separated) and it is more safer for student to use it because there is no rough edge around the gauze in that new design. Does anyone know any suppliers ? Any info about that...

storage of H2O2

Hi all,
Does anyone know what is the safest place for storage of H2O2 (35%) ? Do you store it in the fridge?! As I know if we've got domestic fridge that might be dangerous due to spark of internal light or motor.
