Hi all,

has anyone purchased swan neck tubes recently?
If so, where from, please?
I'm being a slacker and don't really want to have to make them! :-|

Potassium Iodide

Hi all, I have a question about the colour of Potassium Iodide. I have a small amount in a bottle, made up some time ago, that is a strong yellow colour. I needed to make some up today, it is clear. The older solution says saturated, the one I made today is 2M. What colour should it be ??? TIA Helen.

Re: Removing rubber stopper from small conical flask

A while ago I had a rock stuck in a perfectly good measuring cylinder ( by a student )
I did try a few remedies, one was soaking it in an acid to try to eat away the rock..............but alas, I had to throw it out!
