Re: Broken Glassware

we have a separate broken glass box(empty photopaper box) in the prep-room for broken glass only and once it's full we we tape it up with the lid and write all over it before putting it into the hopper. no broken glass can go into any other bin.

Re: Bunsen Burners

What happen to following the Australian Curriculum, I make sure that pracs don't over lap other year groups otherwise what is there to keep the students involved in science. Plus some Teachers go off the beaten track and need to be pulled in. I would not give 9/10 yr olds bunsens or too much glasswa...

Re: Fires????????

My family are in Port Stephens and have been very busy fighting fires and protecting their own home. My Dad and Brother had a close call while fighting fires in Willamtown which caused damage to their tanker. I'll be glad when it's all over and gives everyone a break

Re: can anyone recommend a dishwasher for science

HI , I managered to get our school to buy us a Miele dishwasher for scince labs and never had a problem since. Since most of our AP's teach maths, I drew up a letter with lots of figures and stuff to prove how much money they would save in the long run and the ratio of students to the amount of prac...
