Only because I had a clean out not long ago and bought some shiny new ones!
I have the old grungy, bent and dodgy ones stored away for various metal experiments. They come in handy sometimes.

I was looking for some the other day and I think I found the right ones on Bunnings website. I haven't bought any yet. They were hard to find!!

I had a flask with something in it that I was not going to let beat me. I ended up putting some smallish gravel in it, swirled it around a bit and it came off YAY!!! That was after soaking it to loosen it up a bit.

Our SAM is our supervisor and I'm attending some training with her next month. Until then just keeping up with what comes out in emails and in Schoolbiz.

I used to put it in one of those tubes that you filter fish tank water through and pump the water through it. It would go green and slimy and I would throw it out. No question of reusing it.

Same here. We have some really old ones. I have thrown out the worst of the yellow ones and the broken or unidentifiable ones. I wouldn't be concerned about them deteriorating in 12 months or even 5 or 10 years. Store them safely and they'll be fine for many years.

I used to use it to filter fish tank water years ago when I had smelly fish tanks and yabby tanks in the labs. Thank goodness we don't have them any more!!

Yes the labbies in Tamworth really are amazing, and a great bunch to have on your side. You can't go wrong following their advice.

I have a stash of slightly blue slides that I reuse.

We shop at the local IGA and SPAR, butcher, bakery etc. They send us a monthly account.
Chemicals etc I shop around and print off the online order list without actually submitting the order. I give my SAM a copy of this list and she places the order.

My husband and I are planning a drive to Adelaide in May. We'll take some LSL and we'll head off to who knows where along the way. Check out some inland places and drive along the Murray on the way home. Maybe do a daytrip on a paddleboat. We are edging closer to retirement but still a few years to ...

I use 70% ethanol. Can't remember where I heard/read that this was the way to go, maybe when I learned how to prepare agar plates all those years ago.

Ha ha do you think they'd have the slightest clue??
My SAM is lovely but even more clueless about Science than I used to be before it became second nature.
