A few years back I did 'School Assistant- in Science' as a follow on to Cert IV Lab Techniques, through TAFE, I am sure it was a Cert III, that was in '04.

Re: Biology models

Hi Rita, The only skull we have here is a pig, which I found in a tree actually, lol. We had quite a few feral pigs near where I live and they were hunted/baited, and gotten rid of, so someone put a skull in a tree, for me  . It was really revolting :yuck: , mossy/mouldy and had ants living...

They were being replaced with smartboards and bigger TV trolleys, just a thought if your school is being moved and maybe ask the other schools if they have anything like that. I am happy wit...

Re: Flower Dissection

Thanks Labbie & Noona, funny thing is our bio teacher had a tree covered in these flowers that would have been ideal but all the rain destroyed them. I have looked around where I live and the school grounds, and there is only bottle brushes and gum blossoms (very high up), too hard for the kids ...

We are doing the dissections at the moment, and I had to buy some flowers this morning from coles (with my coles card :clap3: ), th...

Chemistry Teacher Wanted

We have a LSL block next term (term3), for a science teacher preferably Chemistry. This has the possible view to becoming a permanent position in 2012. If anyone knows of a teacher who may be interested, they need to go to http://www.lakes.nsw.edu.au
Many thanks

Hi Maria,

I do my stocktake around mid year, no one has said it needs to at a particular time, so it gets done when convenient, same as other. I also send a copy to our Business Manager and HOD.
