I have the Borax recipe, this will probably be a half a day visit, so need something for them to do.
Was thinking making the playdoh with salt and sugar with the led lights?? they can do a shape - not sure about that..

Our school is hosting a visit from Yr6 students from our area before christmas. I was wondering if anyone has any christmas themed practical lessons or ideas we can do that is safe for yr6.

At our school the Ag farm is under science. Our HOD of science also manages the Ag farm and does reports, budgets etc. And our science HOD does have qualifications in Ag.

I enquired to have mine sharpened quoted $8 a pair.
Cheaper to buy new ones at under $5 from serrata.

Thanks for that, I have been reading and I can't find anything concerning maggots just animal welfare. So I suppose if I can research how to look after them properly, and check with Principal/HOD. It may be ok.

we purchased a trolley on wheels with 18 plastic tubs in it. I have 1 tub for the wires, 1 tub for the motors, 2 tubs for the testing stations. etc---- Its great as the teachers can wheel it in their room and pull out the drawers they need. And the fans sit nicely on top. And its all kept together C...

Hello, I'm searching for a way to clean tarnished brass.. The quick way.. Usually sit there and rub with brasso. But was wondering if anyone knew of a 'solution' I could soak the brass in and give a quick rub and PRESTO clean shiny brass... [-o< This is me being lazy, but would love some suggestions...
