Re: Dishwasher Meile vs Omega(on special at Westlab $505)
I too, am looking at dishwashers. Considered the Westlab one, but appears too small and fiddly. I had a second hand domestic one for 10 years and am looking at purchasing a new domestic one. Not sure what do do, but would love a dishwasher as hand washing sucks!!

Re: Tollens reagent
Never had to make it but found this recipe on file:-
A few drops of dilute NaOH is added to aqueous AgNO3. Aqueous ammonia is added until all of the brown silver (I) oxide is dissolved. At this point mixture will be clear.
Hope this helps tuesday

Magnets
Trying to source 'decent' magnets for general use. Have good neodymium magnets for seniors. Thinking buying Alnico, 75mm, strong (they say) from Haines. Any thoughts from you wonderful lot!

Re: Chemwatch labels
I'm from NSW Dec School and cannot work out Chem FFX - can't even get started! Manual confusing (or is it me)?! The old Chemwatch was so much simpler, especially for generating labels which I need to do, but have no clue. Are there others with the same problems?
