Re: concentrated cobalt chloride

I t will be given in gms per 100 mL at 20 deg C.. that is the maximum weight of the compound that will stay in solution at that temperature in water. I boil the water and a...

I am OVER spending hours of MY time at home making new leads and screwing on the plugs.. so I now buy them in ready made.. and YES the plugs at the end have changed dimensions lately and do not fit the older equipment - I use a little screwdriver and tease out one of the sides on the plug - then the...

We work alone - so we have no one to help us, to talk with, to give moral and emotional support when this is ...

Re: GHS Labeling

Decision made by Head of Science and Principal - we are not to re-label any chemicals in the chem-store - not now , not next year. next year we are to refuse to accept any chemical deliveries where the label is not GHS compliant but we do not touch the old labels on existing chemical containers. I h...

I have just made a call to safe work and the person I spoke with told me that I MUST re-label everything by 2017 - just do it! so even their own staff do not know what to tell us.. I was told that I must be familiar with the document http://www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/sites/SWA/about/Publications/D...

Re: New safety directions with dissection gear

I have made some inquiries and asked a few different 'experts' and also emailed the person involved.. They insist that we disinfect AFTER dissections and no gear goes out which is rusty or damaged.. Phil Crisp thinks that there was a miscommunication and that he doesn't recall stating that we had to...
