Does anyone out there in lab land know if there is a actual list of banned chemicals in NSW DEC Schools.
I have the old
Appendix H: Chemicals which are banned from government schools
list which is from CSIS, but was wondering if there is any updated list anywhere.

Using a balloon would be the same as a zip lock bag as in non reusable.

We have clear canister that I got off ebay, although not a see through as a zip lock bag you can still see it fizz up.

Hard to be able to cover all areas of reuse, reduce and recycle.

we got a bag of canisters from ebay very cheap.

You can do this with a photo canister type cartridge and the lid pops off. You don't get to see it expand though.

If you are after a cheap and quick experiment to show endothermic chemical reaction than this one is for you. It is quick and cheap what more can we ask for. we use 0.1m Sodium Hydroxide and 0.1M Hydrochloric acid and phenolphthalein indicator.
