Hi everyone, can i ask a question? When people say they have had an audit is that audit done by the dept or worksafe or the NSW equivelent.
Here audits involving risk assessments or msds are done by worksafe, the dept is not involved at all

We have 740 students Yr7-10 and they all do science. I am the only lab tech

We run a robotics subject. The kids use lego robotics and lego technics kits.
The idea is to build a robotic car or dancing robot. We have a few pieces go missing but overall the kids are reasonable with them because the more they lose the less their robot works

i have been a lab tech for approx 25yrs, 3 different states. I have worked at a uni, catholic school and govt or public schools so guess i love this job

I think part of the problem is the difference between state requirements and overal australian requirements. In Victoria we have been told we must have RA's for all experiments plus anthing i make up. These must be signed off by the teacher before a class.

I had a request to find a prac that demonstrated the use of AC on a power pack instead of DC which is what we usually use
