We also had them in class's then A-Z. So as Merilyn said we also did NOT segreate chlorides from sulfates. Our chem store only had unopened chemicals, the open ones where stored in the same way but in the prep room. Gee hope that makes sense.

The CSIS tells us no food or drink in a Science class AT ALL. Chemicals stay in the air for years and years so we are told. Hence we are told to wear lab coats & PPE for the reason. SO no NO. Student can go to the door and open it, for a drink from there water bottles.

I do believe all old stock in NSW (at the moment) can not be used after 1st Nov 2022. Other states will be following at a later date,

What plastics are banned NSW?
From November 1:
Single use plastic straws, stirrers and cutlery, including knives, spoons, forks, chopsticks and food picks. As with the bags, the ban will include such items made from biodegradable, compostable, or bio-plastic materials. Wooden items are not included.

When I trained people we would get them to mix chemicals up, starting with a salt solution, then getting to bigger things. Doing the waste as it came in from the classrooms, checking the dropper bottles, before putting away. Writting out an order, (It was put into a book) I always worked with them, ...

Yes bigmack they do this from time to time, so we WHERE told I'm retired now, it is mainly for the big company's that have much larger bottles then us labbies. Some company's have 20 Litre's of the stuff.
