Hello, I am wanting ideas on what other chemicals could be used to grow crystals for juniors. We make borax crystals, copper sulfate crystals and alum potash crystals. A teacher asked me for any ideas on a different type to make it a little more fun. Please let me know if your school can do a...

Re: CO2 cylinder

My husband and I own the Gas co in town, and the law is that all gas cylinders are to be stored upright and be chained to the wall. the only exempt is if they have a purpose built store room for them. Industrial arts here has one. If they are not chained to the wall and fall over they can be like to...

Re: BioViewers - Who uses them?

we use them all the time, especially for juniors. We have slides on cells, rocks, chromosomes, digestive system etc. The slides come in cards that have a little information which the kids can use. This ables us to keep the precious slides for seniors. they are easy to maintain and clean too. Start us...

My problem is that I went in there last week and the zinc alloy(i think they are) shelves look like they are starting to corrode. Its...

Re: Removing permanent texta from smartboards?

Its a smart idea to make up signs and stick right next to the interactive whiteboard not to use ANY TYPE of ink pens. I did this and haven't had a problem since, the casuals used to use whiteboard markers on them on accidental occasions but haven't had the problem since the signs appeared. Trish :cl...
