Hi Nicky!

I think most of us have set up some kind of display somewhere over the years, but we need to know a bit more about what you need to do. Who is your target audience? Junior/senior/parent/other? Should it be hands on? If so, how long do they have to do it?

Cheers

Hi Julia

We made some pretty spectacular crystals just the other day using waterglass and small amounts of various salts. The recipe I use is from a really old practical chemistry book. Can fax it to you if you would like it. Just let me know your fax number.

I spend a lot of my time in the prep room, and when not too much is happening I am in the office or elsewhere as needed. I can't imagine what it's like ...

Hydrogen Gas

I attended an excursion at UNE in Armidale where they demonstrated hydrogen balloons exploding. Very spectacular and LOUD! Another fun demonstration involved bubbling the hydrogen through a detergent solution. The resulting bubbles are then lifted off using a spoon and placed into a candle flame. Th...

Hi Judy.
Would love to invite myself to one of your get-togethers if I may. I would have to travel but would be worthwhile to get to know some others in the same job with the same problems. Look forward to hearing from you.
