We used the dry clay the same way you use the mentos. We were trying different substances all with coarse surfaces and found the clay worked the best.

Hi all,

We did rockets at a school assembly last year. We had several brands of diet soft drinks and mentos, sand, brick and dry clay. The dry clay by far was the best reaction and was quite spectacular.

I was wondering if anyone has heard that we can only put 250ml of metho into a classroom. I have been told by a couple of teachers this is so but I can't find anything written. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
