Adrianna, I was speaking to the presenter before & after the conference and he repeated the same thing. That we have to cover up the entire label and on the back of the bottle we are to place our coloured dots. Not on the front. BUT he never mentioned what info we should include on the label. Wh...

Ummm Ok, no mimi sds's!!????!! really? I thought they were very small too read on the bottle. The guy at ASETwas from the Catholic education system. he told us to cover up old labels completely and place sticky dots or whatever on the back only and that we were not allowed to place the old DG sticke...

Thanks Fibreweb, when we went to the ASET conference, I went along to a seminar where we could ask any questions we had. We were told that we had to cover up old labels completely. When I think about it, there is nothing on the old label that is any differnt to the new GHS version except for the GHS...

I was told by Chemwatch (finally) that supplier info, precautionary statements and ingredients list info as well as the ones mentioned above is required, is any one doing this much per label, to relabel old chemicals in store? or am I over killing it with too much info?

Yes I believe as of next year they will charge $200/year. Currently it is $160/year plus GST. But as we use it for Risk assessments it is well worth it and having the labels available will be a bonus.

We use riskassess here! (gottta say I like it). So I use that. when the teacher places their chemicals required for a prac in riskassess it tells you whether it is for K-12, 7-10, 11-12 or teacher only and I add dots accordingly, if I need to make up chemicals/labels.
