Please feel free to correct me but this is how I work out mass needed.
Mass (grams) = Molarity needed (eg 0.5M) X Molecular weight (which is on most containers of chemicals)
This is to make up 1000ml of solution

I get day old chickens from Wagner,s Poultry (Google them) at Coldstream. They have freighted them to Morwell for me. They are fantastic to deal with. The best thing is we can order females that are easy to re-home at the end of the program.

Hi all out in lab world, hope you all had a good break.
I am trying to get a prac together that requires a "chloroalkane", the prac has tert-butyl chloride listed (2-chloro-2-methylpropane), does anyone know an alternative????

I have been using the program for a couple of years and love it and it is getting improved all the time, I find Chemwatch to be a pain in the neck to use!!
