Re: spiny leaf insects

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I am the proud mummy of a spiny leaf insect named "peanut". Its the cutest little thing and I'm hanging out for more. It hatched from one of the 2 batches of eggs sent to me. Is anybody else's hatching yet?

Re: Phone in preproom

I had a phone in my prep room until the refurb and since the start of the year I have been fighting to get it back. Before the refurb they told us to take everything out that we wanted to keep so I took the phone and then they said after the refurb that there was no phone in here! Talk about frustra...

Who knew?

Who knew that sand could be used as an abrasive for cleaning hard to get at glassware? Well I didn't know but I do now and it works beautifully. It only took 2 years to learn. :? Think of all that glassware I can clean again and of all the lost time trying to get it clean before. :whistling2...

Paper towel dispensers

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if the schools that have had an upgrade got paper towel dispensers in their new classrooms. If so, did it come with the rest of the work or did the school pay for them. We did not get paper dispensers and frankly my classrooms look like a war zone when everybody is ...

Re: This awful weekend

I can't believe that at 8 am this morning 173 people had lost their lives because someone thought it would be FUN to light a fire. Our school is doing lunch bbqs all week and there was some talk of everyone buying knickers and toiletries and sending them to the red cross. I really am angry at the to...

Re: St Mary's Conference

Hi All,
I was just wondering if there are any labbies driving up to St Mary's along the Hume Highway thru Goulburn.
Maureen (Queanbeyan High) and I are car pooling and if anybody else wants to join us we are meeting at South Goulburn McDonalds at 6am on Thursday morning.
