What about silver waste from precipitation reactions? Classes are doing various precipitation reactions in spotting plates using silver nitrate, copper, barium and various other chemicals but they're only using a couple drops per spot plate. Surely this can just be washed down the sink? Or does it ...

It was a very large job, but we had a lady come in each Friday just to do the dropper bottles, she came for over 3 months, until every dropper bottle was done, then we got signed off from the CSIS, gosh must be 20 years ago now.

Yes 6 years ago yesterday, Chemtalk went off air for a long time. So may of us where lost (If you like that word) then WESTLAB purchased it. Do not think poor sink & water ways, remember unless you are a new school (Newly built) you have a pit or sump where it is pumped out at a later time. See Principal for plans of the school or General Assistant GA.

NO it was all taken out, Our Head told us because of insurance, display's where put into walls, with the Prep room at the back, display into the class room.
