Re: Phenolphthalein Agar

Thanks everyone for their answers and suggestions. Every year I make this and until this year when I was told to use gelatine to set it with the agar it as been a dismal failure. So I look forward to trying the receipe next year. Love this site.

Help

I have a staff member who has asked me to find some EDTA and Erichrome Black-T. I am fairly new to this and have no idea what these are. Can anyone tell me what they are and where I would be able to buy them. Thank you for all your help. :w00t:

Re: Waxed Microscope Slides

The prac involves squares of glass, perspex, plastic, copper and the microscope slides with different liquids to see what happens to the liquids when placed drop by drop onto the surface. Thanks everyone for your replies. I will give it a go

Help

I am trying to find a supplier for Albustix Paper and DCPIP solution. All the companies I have tried I have had no success. The teachers here need a price and quantities that can be bought. OR if anyone has any other suggestions that can be used instead of that would be great too.

Thanks!

Burettes

Hi everyone, love this place, lots of great information.

Have a problem. We have a 50ml burette on which the tap will not turn. The staff put some HCL in the burette hoping that would loosen the tap but with no success. Does anyone have any ideas?

Conference

Great idea! Does anyone know who we could contact? Maybe the organizers of the conference in Sydney would know.

Conference

A bit sad that the conference is being held only in the city, It makes it a bit difficult for country staff to access. Does anyone know of any being held in country NSW.
