Does any know if Fume cabinets and Chemical Store room exhaust systems in Independent Schools have to be tested each year?

Is it best to store made up stock solutions (acids, hydroxides, nitrates etc) in alphabetical order altogether or is it best to separate the acids, hydroxides into separate groups.

I have been asked for some strong coloured solutions that can be boiled down safely to leave a solid behind. I can think of Copper Sulfate solution, coloured salt water. Can anyone please tell me some other solutions that would be suitable.
