No matches thrown down the drain.
NO broken matches left anywhere.
They do not seem to walk out the door like matches seem to.
Do you give out a set of gas lighters or one to the teacher and they go around and light them for the students?

Re: Phenolphthalein Agar

Hey,

So I've got this agar from 3-4 weeks ago. It's been stored in the fridge uncovered and has cracked and come away from the edges as you can see.
How do you all store yours for the next time someone wants to do this?
Is it past saving now?

Thanks

Re: Hazardous Chemical Register

I'm currently doing the school stock take now to get a head start on it, and even if something is not hazardous or a DG product I still just keep a copy of it. Just a habit really. It takes twice as long now because of all the extra hand sanitisers and disinfectants in every staff room and store roo...

Re: Agar Plates

Hi Brains Trust I've been asked by a teacher for a students SRP to make up 20 agar plates but 5 different ways. So for each 4 plates: x4 plain x4 glucose x4 saccharine x4 Acesulfame x4 Sucralose They want the sugars to be made up in the agar as it sterilises so its all distributed evenly when it com...

Re: dynamo

Hello!
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this dynamo?

We've checked the LED's and the bulb, they work, and the connections from the contacts work. So no issue with the wiring from there.
We're thinking it's maybe the magnet or copper in there?

Thanks!

Hi Brains trust!

We have 2 of these transformers and when connected they keep saying overload. We've tried changing the fuse in the back but no luck.
Does anyone have any ideas?

DoE school. Yes that makes sense, thank you. I'm only here 2 days a week to help the full time labbie. And I've been told everyone is too busy to get it done and I'm here to go collect the details. Before I was here I the labbie told me she would email them and ask for their stocktake but they'd be ...
