Sometimes they just don't understand that things like this aren't possible with the equipment we have or the reality of the substance they want dissolved in this case.

Silver Chloride is virtually insoluble

Silver chloride is so insoluble in water (.0.002 g/L) that a saturated solution contains only about 1.3 x 10-5 moles of AgCl per liter of water.

If you don't need analytic results less measuring one you and just put 1-3 teaspoons of solid Bi-carb and solid Citric Acid in the zip lock bag and add enough water to get it wet and mix it by squeezing. Also makes a good emergency ice pack for sports injuries. Be cafeful that the zip lock bag isn't...

We have the discovery safety glasses from westlab $3.20 per pair - Haven't noticed and breakage issues with then this year. we also have some of the old large glasses the ones that go over everyday glasses for those that require them but they are quite old and break a lot at the arms.

The Risk Assessment here is the way they book pracs. No risk assessment no booking no prac - Lucky have HOD support and department support with this.

The Solution is usually about 60C and I use 15g Agar to 1000mL

I use 1000 for all my plates and haven't had a problem with them not setting this year.

Maybe gel strength rating was it the 750 that wasn't setting?
