Hi there,
Wondering if anyone has purchased new water deionisers lately. We have an old Elgastat B114, that is starting to fall apart, the inlet and outlet caps have become brittle and considering the cost of the replacement cartridges, considering replacing it.
Thanks

Microscopes for senior Biology
Hi there.
Looking at purchasing new microscopes for seniors, maybe with a camera! Has anyone had any experience using Smartphone adaptors, whether it would be a cheaper option? Would appreciate your opinion and recommendations. Many thanks... Annie

Re: Sodium chromate
They are using the solid. yes, I checked the SDS. It's a S6 poison, toxic, etc
Excuse my ignorance regarding the CSIS. I thought the online version which you need a department 'log in' might have been the 'new ' version? But am gathering its the OLD one just uploaded? Such confusion.

Re: Iron (11) Sulfate Gone Grown
I make it up fresh and make up just enough to cover the prac activity. I usually weigh out lots of 7g and keep it in glass vials, so all I need to do is make them up to 250ml for a 0.1m solution.
