To make a molar soln write this formula down for future use g=M x V x MW (grams = Molar x Volume x Molecular weight) So for your example- you want a 0.25M soln made to 1 litre of sodium thiosulphate that has a MW of 248.18 so therefore g= 0.25 x 1 x 248.18 g= 62.04g so you will need 62.04g of sodium...

Sulfur hexafluoride gas
HELP !! Has anyone used or heard of Sulfur hexafluoride gas . My head of science wants to see if we can get it but I know nothing about it and cant find it anywhere. Its not listed on 'RiskAssess' and I cant find it in the CSIS. I think it goes into "just another crazy idea" basket :crazy:
