Hi All,

one of the mandatory pracs for HSC Senior Science requires testing of silicon. Our teacher requested silicon tubing which is quite expensive & out of our budget. What do other schoole do for this prac?

Hi Rob,

We actually purchase Nutrient Broth Powder from Science Supply. I've been using it for the last 3 years & works well. My days are very busy so any shorts cuts I can take I will.

We have an ongoing debate about stools in our newly refurbished labs. To discourage students from sitting down when doing pracs the labs were designed not to have stools in them. However, everytime we have a prac exam the teachers (some) insist on stools being brought in the labs. What does evrybody...
