Re: Lighting Bunsens

We use the refillable gas BBQ lighters.
No matches thrown down the drain.
NO broken matches left anywhere.
They do not seem to walk out the door like matches seem to.

Re: Buying Chemicals

Of course, my admin don't want me to know our account login. How do you (my trusty brains trust) order ...

Re: Hydrochloric Acid

My first response this morning when I read this was just make up a fresh batch of 2M and be done with it. My second response after reading all the advice above is: " make up a fresh batch of 2M and stop stressing out". My head hurts after reading the above two answers. :-? Is it :coffee: ...

Re: Hydrochloric Acid

So 2M is 200mls per liter . If you had 500lms of 1M it would contain 50mls HCl and 450mls of water Therefore you would need to add 150mls of HCl and 350mls of water to make it up to a liter . If you had 750 mls of 1M it would contain 75mls HCl and 675mls of water . Therefore you need to add 125 mls...

Re: freezing coloured water

Try making the blue water with either blue ink or blue paint and then freezing.
We use to have a powder die that use to work but have not done this for a couple of years now.

Re: MTA products going downhill fast?

We have found Bill from MTA so good to work with. I simply send him a list of my requirements, he sends me back a quote for the items. I have had a few items that were not good quality, a phone call copy of invoice and replaced instantly. MTA are probably just like everywhere else at the moment and ...
